Lilacs

This is the view outside my kitchen window. This is my favorite time of year to be in the kitchen. The scent coming in the window from the lilacs is so comforting and just says spring is here. My daffodils, tulips and pink hyacinths didn't do too well this year with the late snow and cold rains. But the lilac bushes and grape hyacinths are full.
